Every spring, the renewed sunshine and greenery outside inspire us to decorate our interiors again. And what better time to flex that spring decorating muscle than Easter? Easter Sunday 2024 falls on March 31 -- the perfect day to host a lively Easter egg hunt, family brunch, or dinner party. However, if you're as excited as us, you can start redecorating -- and entertaining -- well ahead! Here are our fresh picks for Spring 2024 decor ideas. Let's get blooming!

1. Floral chandelier

Wow your guests with a gorgeous flower chandelier hanging over your dining table. It's actually not complicated to make, and you can find tons of tutorials online if you're feeling crafty. The example above is from the Chic Vintage Brides blog -- yes, it's a wedding blog, but the resulting craft will fit right in with your Easter decor.

2. Chintzy upholstery

In recent years, there's been a huge resurgence in chintz drapery and upholstery. This vintage flowery fabric is especially great for spring because -- you guessed it -- it's all floral. If you want to dip your toes into this trend without looking too '80s, go for modern-looking floral prints instead. Or, just use small doses of chintzy prints, like for a few curtains, while keeping everything else minimal.

3. Spring terrarium

Mini terrariums make super-cute and unique tabletop accents that can go on your dining table, mantel, coffee table, and more. We love that they're in pretty glass containers, which are both rustic and elegant at the same time. They're also on-theme for spring as they display flourishing plant life. The best part is, they can double as party favors!

Bonus tip: For Easter Sunday, add tiny Easter figures into your terrarium such as bunnies, chickens, and of course, Easter eggs.

4. "Food, Family, Love" sign

Turn a classic mealtime blessing into a great focal point in your dining room. This wall decor from Gear Den displays the prayer "Bless the food before us, the family beside us, and the love between us, Amen." And on top of that, it features your family name and monogram, too! This piece may just be the only thing your dining area is missing.

5. Swedish Easter tree

When springtime comes, our Scandinavian friends traditionally make a wonderful Easter centerpiece called a Påskris. It's a vase of twigs brightened with ornaments like colorful feathers and egg shapes. But it's more than just a bunch of branches -- it symbolizes many aspects of Easter, such as the palm trees of Jerusalem and the sweeping away of winter blues.

This is an eye-catching and meaningful decor piece to add to your buffet table -- and one that's so easy to make! The one above was made by savvy crafter Brittany.

6. Springy artwork

Does your living room or hallway need a spring refresh? A quick and budget-friendly way to do that is by hanging a new spring-themed wall art. Above, our lavender canvas print adds whimsy with its butterfly figures and sweet wall quote. And below, our customizable "truck of hearts" art print delights viewers with your family members' names on some cute springtime scenery.

7. Handmade paper flowers

To create inexpensive but lovely spring garlands, bouquets, and even placecards, try your hand at making paper flowers. There are endless kinds you can craft, following step-by-step instructions online. One of our favorite websites with lots of DIY paper flower tutorials is Abbi Kirsten, which made the pretty paper roses above.

8. Metal family tree

Now here's a one-of-a-kind spring decor to impress your guests. This laser-cut metal art piece is in the shape of a graceful family tree, complete with your family name and the names of your family members! It looks so bespoke and delicate, but it's actually a lightweight and durable piece. You can even hang it outdoors to highlight your backyard Easter party! You can also choose from various colors available at GearDen.

9. Floral pillows

Spring decorating isn't complete without pastel florals. Now, we know you don't want to overload your home with floor-to-ceiling flower patterns (or do you? 😄), so if you'd like some moderation, focus your floral prints to just one or two elements. Our pick? Throw pillows with subtle botanical motifs, like our customizable pillow above. We love printed throws because you can arrange them with solid-colored ones to balance the patterns.

Bonus tip: Are you a fan of pastel-colored flower prints? You might just love the "cottagecore" interior style. Read about what it is and how to do it, in our blog post here!

10. Cabbage vase centerpiece

Still looking for an affordable but cute centerpiece for Easter? How about making one made of cabbage? Yes, actual cabbage! You basically carve out a hole in a cabbage head and arrange your flowers in it. We found the example above made by DIY maven Darleen.

11. Welcome metal art

Many homes hang seasonal wreaths on their doors, but if you want to stand out, we recommend a custom metal sign instead! At GearDen, we make personalized welcome signs made of metal, featuring your family name. Just look at the festive example above! All our metal signs are made of lightweight yet durable steel, so you can easily hang it on your front door for a great first impression. Also, it lasts for years!

12. Vintage glassware

Remember those colored glass tumblers, pink sherbet cups, and green salad bowls from grandma's kitchen? Those are so-called "Depression glassware" from the 1930s, and guess what -- they've made a comeback! For Spring 2024, these vintage glass pieces should definitely make an appearance in your decor, whether as part of the table setting or just as a displayed collection.

13. Peachy keen

Not sure how to make your Easter decor look cohesive and put-together? Our favorite trick is to use just one or two colors throughout. How about some nice peachy hues this year? Color institute Pantone has named "Peach Fuzz" as Color of the Year 2024, and it's the perfectly joyous shade for spring decorating. Lay down a blush-colored table runner, serve some citrus-colored foods, and top it off with some sparkly rosé-colored drinks. Voila -- a table with a theme!

14. Fresh throw blanket

Spring may not be the coldest season, but cozy blankets are still in! We especially love using throw blankets for extra style points, draping them across a sofa or on the corner of a bed. To achieve the effortless throw look, choose a 'drape-able' fabric like cotton, microfiber, or fleece. It just so happens that we at GearDen make customized fleece blankets that can be printed with your name!

15. Feature selfie wall

A picture-taking backdrop, a.k.a. a selfie wall, is a huge hit at parties -- and you can make one yourself! It's simply a wall you decorate specifically so guests can take their photos in front of it. You can use various materials and ornaments, such as fabrics, tinsels, garlands, buntings, and curtain lights. We adore the example above made by crafty mamma Kate. She used string lights and faux wildflowers, and the result is an oh-so-sweet picture background!
